Portlandia has a cult following in the Northwest, and I’m betting their latest YouTube video is going to go over well with them. In the clip, the stars of the TV show spoof the popular crowd-funding site Kickstarter.

If you’ve spent time on the site, you’ll appreciate their line about offering “1/2 of a song, which you can only listen to once” as repayment for a donation. There is a lot of really interesting projects funded through the site, but in some cases you really have to be comfortable with the intrinsic reward for making a donation because you don’t get too much in return.
